What We Offer to Colleges & Universities

Every group day at Gripped is specifically tailored to you. We offer a safe trip for every student and teacher. Our fully trained instructors will provide all the safety information required during the safety briefing and will ensure your whole group feels comfortable the whole time.

Our activities are super beneficial for college and university students. They help develop confidence and communication and will help strengthen the bond between students. Following the activities, we encourage all groups to try out our delicious food and snacks at the convenient cabin or enjoy food brought from home!

How to Find Us

Gripped is based close to the border of Surrey which makes it easily accessible from London, Middlesex and Berkshire.

There are many car parking spaces available, so if you’re travelling to us by car you don’t have to worry about finding nearby car parks. The car park is free for the first 30 minutes and then £1 per hour afterwards.

If you’re travelling by tube or train, the nearest tube station is Hounslow Central on the Piccadilly line or the nearest train stations are Feltham and Hounslow.

Yes, we offer student discounts of up to 50%.

Gripped is a fantastic place at which to let off steam, get to know your fellow students better, and have fun!

You’ll need to be wearing something sensible; think closed toe shoes and moveable clothing. Long hair must be tied back in a low style, and you shouldn’t be wearing any jewellery. Find out more about the dress code so that your student group can arrive dressed appropriately.

We’re on the Surrey border, just northwest of Hounslow Heath - super easy to get to if your college or university is in London, Berkshire or Surrey.

It can, though it will incur an administration fee; just fill out our booking change form.

With the British weather being so unpredictable, we recommend you bring appropriate clothing for if the weather turns, including: Layers, Waterproofs, Gloves, Sunglasses. We also advise bringing a water bottle and snacks to keep your energy up throughout the day. Although we have food on site, many like to bring a packed lunch or picnic to enjoy after their adventures.

Yes! If you’re not wanting to get involved in the activities, you’re free to watch in the waiting area. However, some aspects of the activities may not be visible from here.
