Gripped Tickets

Everything you need to know...

ACCOMPANYING ADULTS: Participants under 15 require a ticket-holding adult (over 18) to participate on this activity with them. 1 adult can accompany up to 4 under 15s.

SHOES: Please wear comfortable, closed-toe shoes - secure trainers with a good grip are highly recommended. No crocs, sliders, sandals or high heels, please!

CLOTHING: Athletic wear you're comfortable moving in. Skirts and dresses are not suitable for most activities. Avoid loose or dangling clothing.

GLOVES: While not mandatory, thin, protective gloves are recommended for the Zip Trek. We have these available to buy when you arrive, at £4 a pair.

HAIR: Long hair must be tied up and secured in a low style, and free from accessories. This is to allow for a helmet to be safely and securely worn.

OTHER BELONGINGS: No loose items are allowed on any activity - strap it all in! Phones and other valuables are taken up on the course with you at your own risk. Please remove rings, necklaces, bracelets and earrings before you partake in any activity.

HEAD WEAR AND SCARVES: For your safety, all participants on the Zip Trek, Speed Slides, and High Ropes must wear an approved safety helmet with no other headwear interfering with it. Any covering that prevents a helmet from fitting and functioning correctly cannot be worn underneath.

All headwear/scarves must be tight-fitting and able to be tucked in. Loose, free-flowing, or dangling items that could become caught will not be permitted during activities or courses due to the risk of entanglement.

Our Zip Trekking course includes a small number of obstacles, bridges and nets, included to make the course more thrilling. However, most of the course is made up of simple long and short zips.

It is not advisable for expectant mothers to participate.

Not suitable for guests with heart conditions, high blood pressure, broken limbs and/or back/neck problems.

Guests with pre-existing medical conditions should seek medical advice before participating in this activity.

Gripped is not suitable for non-ambulant guests. All guests must be able to walk unaided in order to experience the park. Otherwise, disabled guests must have a minimum of 1 helper and a maximum of 3 helpers with them.

All guests must participate in the safety briefing for their activity, and follow Team Members' instructions at all times for their own safety.

What’s Involved in The Zip Line?

During the zip line trek, you experience incredible views and a rush to remember. This activity doesn’t require as much exertion and climbing as the high ropes course, but some ability is still required to clip onto the zip lines. A team member will guide you through how to attach yourself throughout the course and a team member will always be visible on the ground if you need any help.

Complete the course in your own time as one group is only able to complete an obstacle at one time. This allows for your group to provide encouragement along the way!

Who is it for?

Our zip wires in Hounslow are great for anyone over 1.4m tall. However, participants under 15 must be accompanied by an adult. Zip lining is a fun activity for adrenaline seekers looking to experience a rush. Whether you’re a couple wanting to experience zip lining together or are friends looking to conquer a fear together, our dual zip lines are the perfect experience.

The zip lines course at Gripped is a great addition to your group day out. Whether you’re a corporate team, hen/stag party, a birthday party or just a group of friends looking for some fun, what better way to get out of the house than a trip to Gripped?
